Washingtonville Lays Wreaths for Veterans at Washingtonville Cemetery During Wreaths Across America

Dozens of people came to the Washingtonville Cemetery to show their respect and lay wreaths as a part of the "Wreaths Across America Program".

Legislator Kathy Stegenga, participating in the ceremonial show of respect said, "Thank you to all who came out today to Remember and Honor all of our deceased, active and POWs at the Wreaths across America in Washingtonville today. Thank you to Col. Brockway and the Washingtonville ROTC for acting as the Color Guard, Pastor Martha for the opening Prayer, Nancy from the Presbyterian Church for leading in the singing of God Bless America and for all the community member, young and old, for helping lay our wreaths."
