SUNY ORANGE Presents its Symphonic Band & Mixed Chorus - Middletown 5/6



Orange Hall Gallery is the venue for the Spring 2025 concert featuring the SUNY Orange Symphonic Band and the SUNY Orange Mixed Chorus. The day/date/ time of this free concert is Tuesday, May 6 th at 7pm. all are welcome to join us for an evening of beautiful music.


Under the direction of Jennifer Budryk, the Symphonic Band will begin the concert with small instrumental ensembles including Flute Choir, Bass Clef Trio, Brass Wind Trio, and Double Reed Trio. 


The Choir directed by Kim Carver will perform songs from a variety of genres which include a jazz arrangement, a pop acapella arrangement, several folk songs, and a traditional Hebrew song accompanied by pianist Joel Flowers and violinist David Peterson. The choir portion will also include a foot stompin' tune and conclude with the selection “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” by John Rutter. The finale of the concert will be performed by the entire Symphonic Band. Selections including the Chorale from “Jupiter” by Holst, “In the Hall of the Mountain King” by Grieg and several songs arranged by Arcari.
