NEW WINDSOR, NY — New York State Assemblyman and candidate for New York’s 18th Congressional District Colin Schmitt (R-New Windsor) has received the endorsement of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Colin Schmitt for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent New York’s 18th Congressional District:
“Colin Schmitt has experience as a businessman and as a member of the New York State Assembly, he voted with small businesses 100% of the time,” said Ashley Ranslow, NFIB New York State Director. “He knows the issues New York’s small businesses are currently facing and has pledged to focus on tax relief and regulatory reform in Washington to strengthen the small business economy. We look forward to continuing to work with him.”
“On behalf of New York’s small business owners, we are proud to endorse Colin Schmitt today,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “We know he will support pro-small business policies and will be a strong advocate for them in Congress.”
Assemblyman Colin J. Schmitt stated, “Thank you to the NFIB for your continued support of my candidacy to win NY-18. Our shared commitment to ensuring small businesses are protected and middle-class families have increased opportunities for work, is the exact reason why we need to take back the House and bring back common sense to government. As we fight to restore checks and balances to Washington, I am honored to receive your support and endorsement.
