New Blooming Grove Senior Center is Beautiful. Exterior is Complete with Portico and Broad Deck

Blooming Grove's new Senior Center at Lasser Park is essentially done, with arrival of the Seniors, a tour and celebration coming soon. Full use is pending kitchen meal preparation amenities.

With a new stone front and portico with columns, the new Senior Center at Lasser Park has become both beautiful and welcoming. It has been a long road, and with COVID delays hampering delivery of the modules, and significant electrical grid support needed, the several years of delay would test the patience of a Saint. Nevertheless the Town of Blooming Grove pulled off a near miracle that with 6,000 sq. ft. will change the lives of local Seniors.

This spacious building offers lots of area for the Rec Department and any town celebrations as well

Stay tuned for a tour of the interior and details about the use of its different sections, which includes a second floor. We think all that will be needed once the stove and its exhaust are done are some big bright flower pots on the porch, and a few evergreens beneath the windows.

What a challenging job and well done by Blooming Grove Supervisor, Rob Jeroloman, the Town Board, Wayne Kirkpatrick and the Town's Buildings & Grounds Department!
