American Painted Lady Butterfly

ROUND HILL ART GALLERY

This collection will be in production on Januray 10, and ready just in time to give a hint to your guy to get an early Valentine's Day gift for you.

Edie Johnson, Project Director and Owner

New images are coming in daily!

New products will be added every month, including items

for use by hikers on the Shunnemunk Rail Trail.

The shirts will have text and a logo on the back unless requested otherwise. There will be fun and educational text on some of the shirts as well as on their tags. For instance, the butterfly pictured above has an interesting genetic protective marking it shares with many other animals. It has anti-predatory "eyes" on its wings." This is one of the most common genetic preservation techniques because "face to face" we are either drawn to, repelled, or frightened by eye encounters. These kinds of survival markings are stunning. You will be seeing more of these fascinating approach-avoidance adaptations blended into the beauty of many of our future gallery additions.

ALL OF THESE IMAGES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE AS GICLEE PRINTS of 20" x 20" FOR PORTRAIT AND 16" x 24" FOR LANDSCAPE

These fashions will promote a "Brand" for our community as environmentally aware, passionately protective of our wildlife, and tourism friendly.

These unique shirts support SEVERAL important local businesses in the Village of Washingtonville, including"Printing Plus Trophies and More" and "Orange County Deesign & Print", as well as Round Hill Gallery in the Town of Blooming Grove.

Thank you in advance for supporting this important environmental project which will have many more aspects in the future, including: Art Parties at Round Hill Gallery with incredible views, environmental speakers and historical presentations, catered snacks and music. Membership fees will be minimal at $50 per year per family for participation and $10 per event (there will also be significant member discounts). Members will be welcome to sponsor 1 guest. More details on this in April.
