It's always a matter of great pride when the local Police Department accepts a new officer and conducts a Swearing In Ceremony. Last night, June 18, 2024, was no exception, as Town Clerk Darlena Decker administered the oath to Dakota Kenny, and his family, Chief Kevin Wakeham, and fellow officers celebrated the accomplishment, and his young son and wife beamed with pride, the young boy looking like he might want to follow in his dad's footsteps one day. Kenny begins work as a Full Time Police Officer today (June 19, 2024).
